looking onto Hay and Cusop
I have been planing an excursion to mouse castle on the recommendation of my soon to be new land lord. This forest overlooks Hay on Wye and is unmistakable from the main carpark. Finding the route up there I stopped off in this very empty field and managed to take a couple of shots whislt trying to stay upright in the srtrong wind.
weathers and rotten tree stump
Chance shot of a duck (1/160s)
Not many decent shots from todays walk along the Wye except these two. The tree stump took a while to get the apiture corect for the detailed exposure that I wanted. the duck was a lucky shot, I knew that I had the camera set at 1/160 so it was going to be dificult to completely stall time, I got around that by following the ducks flight, not as focused as I would have like.
Along the tram road
A nice wheel
Ruin in a field
I went to talybont on usk, where i grew up, to show my dad how to use his new christmas camera- A nice bridge fuji camera, he has been promised a DSL if he can take care of this one. Took my D40 for a couple of walks around the area on a very dull day whilst explaining the functions and theary of photography.
